Today I received notification that a nude self-portrait was removed for violation of Deviantarts policies of showing erect penises--- not being hung by any degree, I don't know if I should be totally pissed or flattered. The fact that this image has been on DeviantArt for well on four years now and only comes under scrutiny now is pretty bizarre in itself. For me the larger picture is when did a penis become the subject of such censorship? The fucking country is going to hell under Douchebag Trump, and yet a penis--modest as it may be--- generates this interest. Hello fellow Deviants (and I use that in the best sense of the word) In the 6 years I have been viewing the work of other photographers and more recently when submitting my own images, I have come to realize how much photography is a part of who I am.
